Sisters Trails Alliance Speaker Series presents Maureen Thompson

  • 252 W Hood Ave Sisters, OR, 97759 USA (map)

With widespread recognition that beavers (through their creation and maintenance of dams and canals) play a vital role in expanding, restoring and diversifying riparian habitats, The Sisters Trails Alliance brings you our third Speaker Event of the 2023 season with Maureen Thompson, program manager of Beaver Works Oregon, a program of Think Wild.

Come on a wonderful journey to learn how our local native plant and wildlife species can benefit from beavers return to challenging parts of their historic range, along with how beavers and their critical work play a key role in wildfire mitigation, carbon sequestration, improved water quality, and much more.

Come at 5:30 to enjoy a glass of wine from our wine sponsor, Left Coast Cellars and mingle with fellow friends. Talk begins at 6pm.

Free to attend. Space is limited, reservations required.
