Author bio:
Mark D Owen is an Oregon native who began writing science fiction in 2018 after a career as an inventor and entrepreneur. He founded Puralytics, a water purification technology using light-activated nanotech, and Phoseon Technology, providing UV LED photo-curing systems to the inks, coatings, and adhesives industry. Owen also held management roles at Agilent, Electro Scientific Industries, and Tektronix. He has over 50 patents issued or pending, and more than $1B in revenues have been derived from products involving his patents.
Mark and his wife Anne have been married for 40 years and own a share in a cabin in Camp Sherman Oregon and a home in Beaverton. They love to travel and hike and are on track to visit all the National Parks. They have three adult children and three grandchildren.
