Nun Better: An Amazing Love Story by Joanie Lindenmeyer with Carol Tierheimer. This powerful memoir chronicles her lifetime romance and ultimate marriage with her soul mate, Carol Tierheimer, who died in 2022. They met in the convent as Catholic nuns during the 1980’s when it was dangerous to “come-out” and later left to enjoy a 40-year adventure when today’s LGBTQ+ freedoms seemed an impossible dream.

Joyously Free! Stories and Tips to Live Your Truth as LGBTQ+ People, Parents and Allies by Joanie Lindenmeyer and Elizabeth Ann Atkins aims to encourage LGBTQ+ people to find the courage to live their truths, and the book provides solid guidance for parents and allies to love and support individuals on their rainbow journeys.

Healing Religious Hurts: Stories and Tips to Find Love and Peace by Elizabeth Ann Atkins & Joanie Lindenmeyer offers a compassionate guide for those who have endured the pain of being shamed, guilted, rejected, or scorned by religion or its people. Delving into the complexities of spirituality and the quest for inner peace, the book courageously explores questions and past experiences relating to religion, spirituality, and the pursuit of personal fulfillment.
